A night in a cabin where, in line with old Värmland tradition, you can regale your companions with amusing stories. You can also prepare a tasty barbeque over the fire.
A cozy evening can also be spent around the indoor fire in the social room. A perfect opportunity to have a stress-free and relaxing night-in.

Boating & Fishing
The river which flows
through Borgvik was formerly called ‘Värma'. It is now
known as Borgviksälven. There is an old transport route
which runs from lake Vänern via Borgvik and then on to
a lake called Värmeln in an area called Värmskog.
In fact, this is how Värmland acquired its name. The
lake system here is very well integrated and perfect for canoeing,
sailing, boating and excellent fishing. |

Buildings
Borgvik is one of Värmlands best kept historical industrial sites with one of the country's most impressive collections of slag clinker buildings. There exist a large number of notable buildings here.
The mansion building is from the 18th century while the workers' houses are also from the 18th century and beyond.
A few buildings were built for special purposes relating to the history of the plant.
In this genuinely historic area you can find the Borgvik Byggnadsvård which is run by the Museum of Värmland. There are exhibitions, consultation, courses and sales related to building restoration and preservation.
In Borgvik there is also a works museum, an old shop, a bakery, a gallery and a 18th century church which is worth seeing.
Other tourist attractions:
There are other tourist attractions in the area such as: Klässbolls Linnen Weaving Mill, The Rackstad Museum in Arvika, The historical estate of von Echstedtska outside Säffle etc.
There are several seasonal and cultural activities/events throughout the year which draw 5,000 – 10,000 visitors.
